Rivals Round Returns Fantasy Debrief

As we head into the penultimate round of the Betfred Super League, who were the highest and lowest Fantasy performers from Rivals Round Returns?

With the Play-Offs fast approaching, it's the right time to start considering who is stays or who goes in your Fantasy teams...

Top performers

It will come as no surprise that Umyla Hanley’s Player of the Match performance on Saturday afternoon resulted in him scoring so highly.

Hanley was the only performer to reach three figures scoring 101 points - and that was 23 more than anybody else.

The Leopards centre produced a stellar showing and made 223 metres from 16 carries - mainly coming from three clean breaks. He also got himself on the scoresheet and assisted two of teammate Keanan Brand’s three tries.

Is the Leigh man a player you’ll be adding to your squad in The Final Charge? He's going to be a valuable asset for the Leopards in the upcoming Play-Offs...

The Dragons overcame adversity on Thursday evening and a big reason for that was their skipper, Ben Garcia.

Garcia just like Hanley, received the Player of the Match Award during Catalans' one-point victory over Salford.

He was the French side's top tackler with 37 tackles, and also made 145 metres from 14 carries. The captain claimed 78 Fantasy points in Rivals Round Returns.

Garcia could be a safe option to have in Fantasy, although with the Dragons missing out on the top six, he will only feature twice more this season as they have the Rhinos and Hull FC left to play.

Jai Field regularly makes the highlight reels and did so once again on Friday during the Warriors' derby success away at the Saints.

Fantastic Field raced 90 metres to score underneath the posts, which will have contributed to his healthy 72 Fantasy points haul. In the entire game, Field made an impressive 263 metres, which helped the champions massively on their route to derby success.

As one of the hottest properties in Super League, is he player you should be wanting in your Fantasy team, especially with there being a strong chance that Wigan could make it all the way to Old Trafford?

Fantasy flops

At £60k, it is doubtful Franck Maria is starting for many people, however, his early bath on Thursday Night saw him make a negative return. The red card in the 34th minute saw him make -4 Fantasy points and he will now miss the remainder of the season through suspension.

Kyle Feldt was on the losing side and failed to have the impact he’d have liked in Friday's derby. Just 15 points returned seems poor given his £170k Fantasy price tag. The Saints winger had a total of 13 carries, but made an uncharacteristic 62 metres.

Feldt has proved to be dangerous previously, however, soit  could be worth sticking with him as the Saints head into the business end of the season.

Elliot Minchella has claimed over 1100 Fantasy points in 2025, but returned just 19 during the Hull Derby.

Minchella didn’t play his usual 80 minutes, seeing yellow in the second half, before being rested by head coach Willie Peters towards the end of the contest.

This low scoring could be seen as a blip though - with the loose forward sitting in the top 15 for Fantasy points scored this year, and is the second highest loose forward behind the Warriors' Kaide Ellis.

Is it worth sticking with the Robins captain for The Final Charge? Many would probably think so. He's going to be a pivotal figure in Play-Offs, as Hull KR aim to achieve back-to-back Grand Final appearances, that's for sure!
