Viva Las Vegas!

Hull KR and Leeds Rhinos will light up Las Vegas this weekend, as the Betfred Super League excitedly joins the NRL in the ‘Entertainment Capital of the World’!

Around 10,000 travelling fans are expected to make the trip from England to the United States for the Vegas showpiece…

What is Rugby League Las Vegas?

Rugby League Las Vegas is quickly becoming an annual event after it was started back in 2024 by the NRL, with an intention of expanding the sport's global reach and engaging an American audience.

And for a second year running, Super League will be involved as part of a blockbuster triple-header.

In its inaugural year, Manly Sea Eagles met South Sydney Rabbitohs, whilst Sydney Roosters faced Brisbane Broncos.

It was the first time rugby league had ever hit America for a season opener, and in 2025, things got bigger and better as Super League joined the party with Wigan Warriors entertaining Warrington Wolves in their historic meeting on the US shores.

There was a try fest in 2025 as the Warriors enjoyed a 48-24 win over the Wolves – with the sides more than impressing on the big stage with a dazzling display.

England Women also took on the Australia Jillaroos, adding international flavour to the occasion for the first time.

Canberra Raiders, New Zealand Warriors, Penrith Panthers and Cronulla Sharks were the participating NRL teams that year.

In 2026, the Robins and Rhinos’ clash will kick things off at the iconic Allegiant Stadium and is then followed by two highly anticipated NRL matches between North Queensland Cowboys and Newcastle Knights, and Canterbury Bulldogs and St George Illawarra Dragons.

IF you’re lucky enough to be in this Vegas this week, there are plenty of opportunities for travelling supporters to take advantage of once-in-a-lifetime experiences, with fan event details available below:

And for those watching along at home in the UK, all three matches will be televised LIVE and exclusively on Sky Sports (see timings below).

Last year, current champions Hull KR, agreed to switch their home league fixture against Play-Off hopefuls Leeds Rhinos to the Allegiant Stadium.

And as the recently crowned World Champions prepare to represent Super League in this sensational setting, let’s not forget there are still two important Super League competition points up for grabs.

A mouthwatering spectacle in the American continent awaits with the Robins and Rhinos’ match-ups rarely disappointing.

Hull KR will arrive in Vegas high on confidence after their breath-taking win against Brisbane Broncos last Thursday.

But Leeds travel to Vegas with their own strong narrative.

The Rhinos have shown real progress under head coach Brad Arthur, edging closer to being genuine title contenders again after a solid 2025 campaign. Leeds will also want to make a statement while they’re over there and in the spotlight.

It’s another unique opportunity to showcase what Super League is all about to the US market, but which side will put on their best show?

Team news:

The teams touched down in Vegas early this week and have been soaking up the sights whilst putting in the hard work ahead of Saturday.

The Robins are expected to announce their 21-man squad in the next 24 hours.

All 17 players who featured in last Friday's win over York Knights at AMT Headingley are included in Brad Arthur's Vegas squad. Rhinos captain Ash Handley is also named.

The squad is completed by teenager half back George Brown, and props Tom Nicholson-Watton and Ben Littlewood. Mikolaj Oledzki will travel with the squad but will not be available for selection as he recovers from a rib injury.

What will the Robins and Rhinos be wearing?

Both Hull KR and Leeds will play in their bespoke Las Vegas kits for Saturday’s clash.

Hull KR’s strip reamins their traditional red and white, with 'LAS VEGAS 26' text on rear, making for a special keepsake. The event details are written in gold text, and the shirt also contains the official gold Rugby League Las Vegas logo.

To further add the American vibe, there is a USA inspired Icon flag, a USA inspired Super League logo on the sleeve, as well as a Robins in Vegas locker tag.

Meanwhile, Leeds’ kit is a unique design to celebrate the huge occasion in the USA. Their dark blue shirt also features striped sleeves to truly capture that American feel.
