Round 3 Hit Different.

The Betfred Super League took to the streets of Las Vegas as the Rhinos thrashed the Robins in Sin City. The Warriors claimed bragging rights at home after a ruthless Battle of the Borough win. And the Tigers got off the mark this season, convincingly beating the Giants on home turf!

What does this mean for your Fantasy team for Round 4 and beyond? Let’s delve into this week’s standout performers and who fell below par...

Top performers

Maika Sivo (101 points)

Rhinos fans have had to wait a long time to get a look at their winger Maika Sivo, and they haven't been disappointed so far! The Las Vegas streets belonged to Sivo this weekend, as he scored a four tries, whilst making four clean line breaks and ten tackle busts.

The Fijian is priced at £140k - and based on his opening round performances, you'd be getting your money's well worth!

Harry Smith (98 points)

The Warriors' demolition of the Leopards on Thursday night came heavily down to their scrum-half’s contribution.

Smith dictated play and controlled the entire game, scoring two tries, assisting another three and made nine attacking kicks in his side’s win.

The England international’s skillset was on full display, demonstrating why he’s a prized asset to any Fantasy team. He’s a strong choice for your number 7...

Jai Field (86 points)

Wigan's star full-back put in yet another stunning performance against the Leopards!

An electric Field scored two tries, created two try assists, and ran 171 metres whilst busting through eleven tackles. It was a trademark display for the Warriors' star man.

Field becomes more of a guaranteed points scorer with each passing round. He will without a doubt add value to any Fantasy team which has already been proven in the first three rounds.

With a price tag of £170k, can you afford to make room for him?

Daryl Clark (81 points)

The hooker’s experience was on full show in the Saints’ trip to the south of France on Saturday - so much that he racked up 81 Fantasy points.

Clark also dotted down on his 350th Super League appearance, and as one of the best number 9s in the competition, is guaranteed the minutes.

Given his performance on Saturday, he’ll be well worth getting into your Fantasy side for the rest of the season.

Brodie Croft (78 points)

This is two appearances in two weeks on the Top performers list for Brodie Croft!

If that’s not a sign to get him in your Fantasy team, then we don’t know what is. The Rhinos playmaker starred at the Allegiant Stadium and was the Sin City showstopper, scoring two tries and creating one try assist.

He certainly grabbed the opportunity of playing in Las Vegas with both hands. Looking for a new stand-off for your side who can produce the points?

Croft should be at the top of your list.

Shane Wright (76 points)

This second-rower is already a star in St Helens after that try against the Rhinos last season.

His reputation to both Saints and Fantasy League players will only be enhanced by his performances on Saturday.

Putting his body on the line saw Wright earn 76 Fantasy points - and at £100k, that's not a bad price to pay!

Fantasy Flops

Lachlan Lam (22 points)

Expectations were high for Lachlan Lam at the start of the season, but he is yet to hit those heights this season.

Lam has accumulated just 97 points over the opening three rounds of the season. You might expect more from a player who'a priced at £160k.

An expensive Lam was also the lowest scoring scrum-half that played the entire 80 minutes in Round 3. Will you stick or switch with the Leopards maverick?

ES019094

Peta Hiku (15 points)

It was an uncharacteristic performance for Peta Hiku in Las Vegas. The former New Zealand international offered very little attacking threat against Leeds Rhinos.

Just like the rest of his teammates - it's a night to forget.

Ollie Partington (14 points)

He came off the bench for Kaide Ellis, with both loose forwards having played similar game time. Ellis, however, scored 20 more Fantasy points, despite costing £10k less.

Partington has impressed on his return to the Warriors, but with the sheer talent in this Wigan side, his minutes could be a lot more limited compared to last season where he started every game for Catalans Dragons.

If there are going to be constant changes that impact Partington's performance, could Ellis be the one to go for? Or a loose forward from a different team altogether?
