Ins:

Nene Macdonald (£140k)

Everyone thought the worst when the Saints centre had to leave the pitch injured in their Round 2 clash.

But fear not, his leg injury was not as bad as initially thought. The PNG international played the full 80 minutes as the Saints went on to demolish the Dragons in Perpignan.

And averaging nearly 50 points a game when he played last season, Macdonald is a decent addition to any Fantasy team.

Ligi Sao (£110k)

The Black & Whites prop is available again after serving his two-match suspension he picked up on the opening weekend against the Bulls.

He’ll bolster Hull FC’s forward pack, and at only 110k in Fantasy, he can provide a cheaper alternative in the prop position.

Scott Galeano (£100k)

Just like the Knights, Galeano has impressed in the early rounds of the season; averaging 40 across the first two rounds.

The winger missed out on Round 3 action with a groin injury, but fortunately for Mark Applegarth and Fantasy League players, his recovery was quick.

Costing only 100k, Galeano provides great value for money if the first three rounds of the season are anything to go by!

If you’re in need of a new winger, Galeano could be your man!

Outs:

Jai Field (£170k)

It’s been a matter of high and lows in the space of a few days for Jai Field.

After yet again starring for the Warriors in their Battle of the Borough victory on Thursday, he was admitted to hospital on Monday and was diagnosed with appendicitis. This rules the full-back out for up to six weeks!

Replacing Field in your Fantasy Team could be harder than expected, however! With Bailey Hodgson, Arthur Mourgue, Black Taaffe, Will Pryce and Jack Welsby all already side-lined, the question becomes, who will you choose to replace Field for your team?

Ben Garcia (£130k)

Garcia has had a disrupted start to the season. The Dragons skipper firstly picked up a suspension in Round 1 and has now sustained an injury in the second half of their Round 2 match against the Saints.

It’s currently unclear how long the loose forward will spend on the side-lines. For both the Dragons and Fantasy players, the sooner he returns to the action the better.

Joe Ofahengaue (£130k)

The Leopards’ number 8 limped off early on against the Warriors on Thursday night. It’s suspected the prop could be out for eight weeks, meaning Leigh’s pack will be a little lighter moving forward.

Ofahengaue contributed 718 points in fifteen matches after joining the Leopards during the 2025 season.

His output will be sorely missed where Fantasy is concerned.

Umyla Hanley (£130k)

There was hope that the centre would return in Round 3 after he missed the opening rounds with a shoulder injury.

But Leopards’ head coach Adrian Lam has since confirmed that Hanely’s absence will now extend until early April.

Leythers will be hoping his return comes after a turnaround in form after a disappointing defeat to Wigan Warriors last week.

Hanley’s injury is unfortunate for the Fantasy players. Averaging almost 50 points per match last season, he would have been first choice in a lot of people’s Fantasy teams in 2026.

Tyson Smoothy (£120k)

The new Trinity hooker, who joined from NRL Premiers Brisbane Broncos in the off-season, failed a HIA against the Wolves.

Adding to his side’s early season worries he’ll miss out on their Thursday night clash as Trinity welcome Hull FC to the DIY Kitchens Stadium.

Averaging nearly 40 points in the first three matches, he’ll be a miss for any Fantasy team he’s part of – and it’s a big blow for Wakefield.
