Fantasy League debrief

PLAY FANTASY LEAGUE HERE!

Nine rounds into the 2026 Betfred Super League season and it’s all to play for!

With a tightly compacted table, clubs and Fantasy teams are having a dramatic change in fortunes as the weeks go by. As ever, this 2026 season hits different…

It’s nearly the end of April, which means next week, players will once again have four transfers to play with for the month ahead. Who will you be bringing in for May?

And what does all this mean for Fantasy Super League players? Let’s delve into the top performers and the flops from Round 9…

If you haven’t already you can build your team here!

Top performers

Mikey Lewis (118 points)

Magic Mikey does it again! It’s no surprise that the Robins’ climb up the table has coincided with the half-back’s impressive displays recently.

He’s a nightmare for defenders up and down the league.

His mercurial display against the Bulls consisted of four tries, four clean line breaks, one try assist, eight tackle busts, and 70 metres!

Looking for a change of half-back? It’s hard to argue there’s a better option than Mikey given his red hot form – and the fact he has been the overall top Fantasy points scorer for two seasons running!

Will he do it for a third straight year? He might be priced the highest (£170k), but he’s well worth it!

Get him in your side today!

Davy Litten (87 points)

It has been a turbulent few weeks for the Black & Whites to say the least, but there looks to be light at the end of the tunnel after their demolition job on the Tigers at the weekend.

And Litten was at the heart of it! Two tries scored, three offloads, seven tackle busts and 140 metres made. That makes for good reading!

Eager to swap out one of your centres? Litten can provide a cheaper alternative with a price tag of £100k, whilst still being a consistent source of points.

Mathieu Jussaume (85 points)

Avid players of Fantasy Super League should know all about Jussaume. The talismanic Frenchman is often at the heart of everything good about this Toulouse side, giving his all every time he plays!

His performance in Round 9 on Friday Night against the Knights was one of only a few positives to take for the French outfit, with one try scored, one clean line break made, 50 metres made with the ball in hand, and most impressively, a whooping 51 tackles completed.

Jussaume has proven time and time again this season that he can consistently provide the all-important Fantasy points.

Priced at only £90k he’ll save you a fair chunk of money if you were to put him in your team.

Caius Faatili (83 points)

Despite being on the losing side, it was a classic prop forward display from Faatili.

The Trinity powerhouse scored one try, completed an astonishing nine tackle busts, one offload and eighty metres.

Need a change at prop? Faatili can be your man at £130k…

Brendan Hands (82 points)

The 27-year-old hooker has impressed since switching from the NRL to the Betfred Super League in the off-season, gaining plaudits for his effort and work rate.

His performance on Friday night highlighted this - with one try assist, eight runs from dummy half and 60 metres made, as well as an incredible 59 tackles.

Remember, it’s 1 Fantasy point per tackle, which is why Hands has scored so highly in Round 9!

Want a cheaper alternative at hooker for your Fantasy side (£100k)? Hands should be at the top of your list if he continues to produce such a stint. He was on the pitch for the full 80 minutes too!

Fantasy flops

It was a night to forget for the Toulouse full-back, Olly Ashall-Bott on Thursday. Just like the French side, he never got going and left little impact on the game itself – scoring just six points. He’ll be hoping to bounce back in Round 10.

Likewise, it was a lacklustre display from Mikaele Ravalawa, who only scored 12 points for the Tigers in Round 9. Ravalawa was unable to back up his big performance against the Warriors in Round 8.

Catalans Dragons’ maverick Toby Sexton also scored low in week 9’s Fantasy, accumulating just 15 points, which is dramatically below average for a Fantasy half-back.
