Broadcast coverage confirmed for Rounds 16-18
4 hrs
Sky Sports and RL Commercial can confirm the broadcast selections for Rounds 16 & 18 of the Betfred Super League. The games will be played either side of Magic Weekend, which heads to Everton’s Hill Dickinson Stadium on the weekend of July 4 & 5.
Round 16 will see Sky Sports exclusive picks start at Warrington on Thursday night as they host Catalans Dragons (25 June, 8pm) before the cameras head over to AMT Headingley Stadium where the current league leaders, Leeds Rhinos, will face Hull KR (26 June, 8pm).
In a change to the published schedule for Round 16, Leigh Leopards’ trip to Toulouse will now kick-off at 6pm CET/ 5pm UK instead of 9pm CET/ 8pm UK to avoid a direct clash with the Top 14 Finale which also takes place that evening at 9pm local time.
The round after Magic Weekend, will see Sky Sports cover a mouth-watering clash in Round 18 as Sam Burgess’ Warrington Wolves head to the Brick Community Stadium to face recent Challenge Cup winners, Wigan Warriors (10 July, 8pm)
The second exclusive selection in Round 18 sees current Super League champions Hull KR host play-off chasing Wakefield Trinity with both teams looking to further cement their places in the top six as we head into the final charge towards the play-offs.
