Sailor stays at Saints

St Helens have announced that Tristan Sailor has signed a new three-year deal with the club.

Sailor will remain a Saint until at least the end of the 2029 Betfred Super League season having first joined the club back in 2024.

The versatile back has featured in every competitive match since signing for the Saints, racking up 50 consecutive appearances, scoring 28 tries and kicking 19 goals amounting to 150 points to date.

On the new deal, Sailor said: “It's really exciting! I came here for an opportunity, and I've absolutely loved my time here. I'm glad to be staying on and continuing to play alongside some of the boys I've been with over the past two years.

“Coming over to such an historic club, you had always heard about St.Helens, I certainly did from Jammer [James Graham]. And I saw coming in last year, the boys who carry values like Jonny Lomax, who is one of the toughest players I’ve played with, and you understand what the Club is all about.”

Head Coach Paul Rowley added: “Tristan extending his stay with the Saints is great news for the Club. Since joining, he has been outstanding in his performances and is a really valuable team member.

“He’s a great lad, and I am very happy that we get the pleasure of continuing to work alongside him going forward.”
