Betfred Super League Semi-Finals confirmed

The schedule for the Semi-Finals of the Betfred Super League Play-Offs has now been locked in following a thrilling weekend of action.  

Wakefield Trinity and Warrington Wolves have progressed to the semi-finals after enjoying wins over Leigh Leopards and Hull KR during this weekend’s Eliminators. 

Wakefield reached their first Super League semi-final with a dominant 26-16 victory over the Leopards on Friday night with Daryl Powell’s side in excellent form at the DIY Kitchens Stadium. 

On Saturday, Warrington secured their place in the semi-finals, putting an end to KR’s attempted comeback with a 35-12 win in front of a packed home crowd.  

Meanwhile, League Leaders’ Shield winners Wigan Warriors and Leeds Rhinos had a weekend off as they already guaranteed their home semi-finals after finishing inside the top two following the conclusion of the regular Super League campaign. 

The first semi-final will get underway on Friday night, with Leeds hosting Warrington at AMT Headingley Stadium – live exclusively on Sky Sports (KO 8pm). 

Trinity will then travel to The Brick Community Stadium to face the Warriors on Saturday September 26 (KO 5.30pm) in the semi-final which will be broadcast live on Sky Sports and BBC Sport.

The winners of those two clashes will then progress to the Betfred Super League Grand Final at Old Trafford on Saturday October 3 (KO 6pm) – live on Sky Sports.

Semi-Final 1 - Friday 25th September, Leeds Rhinos v Warrington Wolves, KO 8pm on Sky Sports ONLY

Semi-Final 2 - Saturday 26th September, Wigan Warriors v Wakefield Trinity, KO 5:30pm on BBC Sport and Sky Sports
