Injury hit Hull downed by Dragons

Catalans Dragons outscored Hull FC by six tries to one to record a 37-6 win in Betfred Super League.

The visitors scored tries through Fouad Yaha, Tony Gigot, Brayden Wiliame, Arthur Romano, Matt Whitley and Samisoni Langi and there were 12 points from the boot of Sam Tomkins. Gigot also kicked a late drop goal.

Injury-hit Hull, without the influential Marc Sneyd and Albert Kelly and missing 17 players in all, had little to show for their efforts as their points came from a Mickey Paea try and a Jake Connor conversion early in the first half.

A Tomkins penalty gave the visitors the lead but Hull scored the first try when Paea collected Connor's pass and went over.

But Yaha slid in at the corner to level the scores and Tomkins added the conversion to give the Dragons a lead they would not relinquish.

Gigot and Williame added further scores before half-time and the efforts from Romano and Whitley came early in the second half, before Langi rounded things off with a late converted try.
