Top performers

Four try hero Derrell Olpherts stood head and shoulders above the rest in Round 20 of Fantasy League. His try scoring antics were impressively complimented by a huge 211 metres from 18 carries, 4 line breaks and 10 tackle busts on his way to a 101 point score.

Jai Whitbread produced a monster 55 minute shift for Trinity on the weekend as he recorded a 77 point total – his best return of 2022. Whitbread made 152 metres from 19 carries, 4 tackle busts, 2 offloads and 43 tackles.

Despite being well beaten at home to Cas, Danny Houghton showed up well in Fantasy. His 46 tackle effort helped the experience hooker earn a solid 76 points.

Elsewhere, Danny Levi (68) showed up well in defeat for Huddersfield, whilst Brodie Croft (65) and Curtis Sironen (62) continued their impressive league form. There was also 60+ scores for James Bentley (62), Konrad Hurrell (62) and Harry Newman (62).

Fantasy flops

It was an underwhelming return to action for Hull FC's Jake Connor. The talented full-back managed to score just 14 points during his first game back since June, falling well below his previous 40 point season average.

Popular Fantasy choice Jai Field had a quiet evening against the Rhinos, recording a below-par 17 points - Field’s attacking threat was nullified as Wigan were well beaten away at Leeds.

Looking ahead

Fantasy coaches will be sweating this week with Round 21 falling in the month of July, meaning transfers won’t be reset until the conclusion of this weekend’s action. Many coaches will be short on available transfers will plenty of selection headaches ahead of this weekend's action.

Disciplinary is likely to shake up more Fantasy teams this week – the most notable absence being popular front rower Ligi Sao. He’s set for an extended stint on the sidelines after being red carded in Round 20.
