6 Aug 2025

Castleford Tigers have secured the future of youngster Jenson Windley with a new five-year contract keeping him at the club until the end of the 2029 Betfred Super League season.
Windley made his Betfred Super League debut on 23rd August 2024 against Warrington Wolves and has since made five league appearances for the Tigers including a try-scoring performance against Hull FC in just his second outing.
On his new deal, Windley said: “It’s special to be fair. When I was a young kid and rugby being my life, they give me a shot at Cas and they have been good ever since, being at the club and making my debut last year was a special moment.
Director of Rugby, Chris Chester, added: “I’m delighted to get an extension sorted for Jenson. He is a young talent who has a bright future in the game.
“I’m looking forward to working with Jenson over the next five years and I’m sure he’ll be a regular in the Castleford side for years to come.”
Windley is a product of Castleford’s youth development system having begun his Rugby League journey with West Hull ARLFC.
