Jenson Windley signs long-term deal with Tigers

Castleford Tigers have secured the future of youngster Jenson Windley with a new five-year contract keeping him at the club until the end of the 2029 Betfred Super League season.

Windley made his Betfred Super League debut on 23^rd August 2024 against Warrington Wolves and has since made five league appearances for the Tigers including a try-scoring performance against Hull FC in just his second outing.

On his new deal, Windley said: “It’s special to be fair. When I was a young kid and rugby being my life, they give me a shot at Cas and they have been good ever since, being at the club and making my debut last year was a special moment.

Director of Rugby, Chris Chester, added: “I’m delighted to get an extension sorted for Jenson. He is a young talent who has a bright future in the game.

“I’m looking forward to working with Jenson over the next five years and I’m sure he’ll be a regular in the Castleford side for years to come.”

Windley is a product of Castleford’s youth development system having begun his Rugby League journey with West Hull ARLFC.
