Round 2 Team of the Week
3 hrs
Off the back of a breathtaking start to the 2026 Betfred Super League campaign last week, Round 2 delivered another action-packed weekend.
But who features in the Team of the Week?
Fijian powerhouse Maika Sivo made his long-awaited Super League debut on Friday Night. Sivo, who sat out the entire 2025 season through injury, crossed for a brace of tries as the Rhinos romped to victory against newly-promoted York.
Sivo’s Rhinos teammate Brodie Croft was instrumental in their Round 2 win – the former Man of Steel scored and set up a try, as well as running for 154 metres from 14 carries to ensure the Rhinos head to Las Vegas in winning form.

Elsewhere on Friday Night, Bullmania returned as Bradford earned their first win since returning to the top-flight. Experienced hooker Andy Ackers opened the scoring in what turned out to be a dominant dummy half display.
St Helens edged a thriller against Leigh Leopards at the Brewdog Stadium in Round 2. New recruits Jackson Hastings and Joe Shorrocks played a key part in the Saints’ gritty win, with the pair linking up for a crucial second half score to edge their side level, before Hastings cooly slotted over the winning penalty shortly after.
Toulouse made it two wins from two thanks to a tough home win against the Tigers on Saturday, with star centre Ruebenn Rennie bagging two of Toulouse’s four tries.
Ethan Havard led the charge during Wigan’s dominant display against Hull FC. The towering front rower ran for 148 metres from 18 carries as Wigan romped home to victory against a helpless Black & Whites side.
The final Round 2 clash saw Trinity narrowly defeat the Giants on Sunday afternoon. Lachlan Walmsley made a try scoring return to the Wakefield wing, scoring two tries to compliment his 136 run metres.
