PLAY FANTASY LEAGUE HERE!

The Final Charge certainly announced itself with a bang over the weekend.

With drama at every turn and permutations on the top six places, what will have happened by the time Round 27 arrives?

Let’s dive into who racked up the Fantasy points in Round 23, and who didn’t hit expectations…

Top performers

Andy Ackers (103 points)

The Bulls’ veteran hooker’s performance was one of the only bright spots for Kurt Haggerty’s side as they suffered a heavy defeat to the Warriors at the weekend and slipped to the bottom of the Betfred Super League table.

Ackers is this week’s top performer in Fantasy, however, and was everywhere on the pitch on Saturday, scoring one try, and completing one offload and a staggering eleven runs from dummy half. He also ran for 100 metres with the ball in hand.

Ackers punches well above his price tag in Fantasy (£110k) and is comparatively cheap compared to others across the league.

Looking for a new hooker before Thursday's 6pm deadline? Get Ackers in your team now.

Tristan Sailor (88 points)

What a performance from the Saints against Trinity at the weekend, and this was spearheaded by their talented playmaker Tristan Sailor!

With four try involvements, Sailor crossed the whitewash three times and assisted once. He also ran for an exceptional 197 metres, bust through five tacklers and broke Wakefield’s defensive line once as the Saints dominated the second stanza.

Sailor is by no means the cheapest (£160k) but given performances like that we’d say he’s worth every penny.

Need a new half-back for the rest of the season? Sailor could be your man as Saints revive in time for The Final Charge…

Nick Cotric (81 points)

It was another disappointing day at the office for the French outfit, although their centre Nick Cotric can hold his head high given the shift he put in on Thursday Night.

Cotric was a menace with the ball in hand, completing a mammoth five offloads, running for 100 metres and busting through a staggering 13 would-be Robins’ tacklers. He certainly put his body on the line for the Dragons.

This Aussie is a safe bet when it comes to Fantasy points, having accumluated 831 points so far this season.

Need to replace one of your centres? Put Cotric in your side today!

Cameron Smith (80 points)

Despite being on the losing end, it was another excellent performance from Cam Smith, following his game changing display against Trinity in Round 22.

Smith started for the Rhinos on Thursday, running for 130 metres, breaking through four tackles and completing two offloads - all of which rack up key Fantasy points!

Need to get more points out of your loose forward? Cameron Smith is in red-hot form for the league leaders, and could be a huge shout as The Final Charge continues…

Kian McDermott (80 points)

The young Warriors prop shone at the weekend.

The 20-year-old second rower scored one try and gained 100 metres as his side moved level on points with Leeds Rhinos at the top of the table.

At just £50k, McDermott could be an absolute steal if Matt Peet carries on giving him the minutes. Putting McDermott in your Fantasy side could also free up funds to spend elsewhere...
